International Adviser

I began my Guiding journey as a parent helper at Brownies – that was over 30 years ago!  After a little while (and a bit of arm twisting!), I became joint leader of the Brownie unit.  Rainbows followed, then Guides.  I now help run both Rainbows and Guide units.   My first foray into the world of international travel was in 1999 being part of a team taking Guides to Austria.  Since then, I have been to New Zealand, Netherlands, Canada, Ireland (on the catering team) and to Our Chalet.  I am passionate about giving girls the opportunity to stretch themselves – either at home or abroad.  I am very much looking forward to being part of the Adventure team and bringing some new ideas (and events).
