International Adventures in Girlguiding
Girlguiding is part of a truly global movement, and we can offer members a vast range of amazing international adventures. In Buckinghamshire, Girlguiding offers a wide range of international adventures for girls and adults, from County trips, to Division, District and Unit trips and the opportunity for individuals to take part in Region and National trips as well.

Summer 2026
Two very successful County international trips took place over the summer, to the Netherlands and Gibraltar.
Two other trips, organised by districts/divisions, went to Switzerland in August, and another unit took part in a mystery weekend.
Two County trips are planned for 2027: Our Chalet in Switzerland and Lorne in Northern Ireland.
Details of the selection event for County trips in 2028 will be available shortly.

Past County trips for girls and adults have included: World Scout Jamborees; trips to Jamborees in Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands; Ulster; Sri Lanka; Mongolia; Iceland. World Centre trips to Sangam, Our Cabana, Our Chalet, and the Scout World Centre in Kandersteg. Other trips have included The Azores, Malta, New Zealand, and Canada.
