I have been Guiding for most of my life. I was a Guide in Bristol and gained my adult leadership qualification in Bristol in 1974. I moved to Buckinghamshire in 1983 and held a variety of roles including Guide leader, District Secretary, Division YL Guider and Camp Adviser. Following these I became County Outdoor Activities Adviser, County Queens Guide Coordinator, County Commissioner, County Awards Chair, Region Awards Chair, Deputy Region Chief Commissioner, Association Representative for 4 World Scout Jamboree’s, Centenary Camp Project Team Member, Organising Team WAGGGS World Conference 2011 and Association Deputy International Commissioner. I am currently Chair of Awards Girlguidng Buckinghamshire, and Secretary to the Ellesborough Committee. I am also honoured to have the roles of County President and Region Vice- President.

I am holder of several awards; County Good Service, 2 x Girlguiding Good Service, Anglia Brooch and the Girlguiding Silver Fish Award. I also have a Scout Medal of Merit (as a Guide!)

I think it must be nearly time to retire!
