Archivist

Paul Fleming

I’m a former sales and marketing professional and worked for Dulux Paints for over 30 years before taking early retirement. I’m married with three children; my daughter is a Rainbows leader in Loughborough and my wife is a Division Commissioner.

I’ve lived in Hazlemere for over 20 years and have always enjoyed being an active volunteer member of the local community through football coaching, Bookings Secretary for a local Village Hall, and being a parent governor at two local schools. I also served as a Hazlemere Parish Councillor and volunteered on the Paralympics collection at Buckinghamshire Archives.

I’m currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Arts & Humanities with the Open University, majoring in History and Art History. I’ll be starting the first of my two third-year modules in October 2025.

Within Girlguiding, I’m a member of the Ellesborough Committee and have recently been appointed as County Archivist.
