Assistant County Archivist

Are you over 18 and have a passion for guiding, the history of the organisation, and a keen interest in keeping track of historically significant documents? You could be just the person we are looking for to assist our county archivist and heritage consultant.

We are looking for an assistant archivist who can assist the county archivist with all aspects of looking after our county archives. You don’t need any specific qualifications, but you do need to be passionate about preserving the history of Girlguiding in Buckinghamshire. This is an ideal role for two volunteers to hold as a job share.

Our volunteer roles offer lots of flexibility and can build-on, or help you develop skills in areas that you have an interest in. You may not feel that you fit the role 100% but we strongly encourage a discussion with the county team if this role is interesting to you. Please use the ‘contact’ button above to arrange a discussion about how the role could suit you.
