About the Competition Hikes and Rainbow Ramble
The competition hike is run from Ellesborough Guide centre, teams of Brownies, Guides, Rangers and adults all take part.
Each vying to take first place in their respective competitions. All enjoying their day out in the Chiltern countryside. In 2023 it was expanded to include a 'Rainbow Ramble'

The Competition Hikes are for Brownies, Guides, Rangers, YLs and adults. We also have a Rainbow Ramble for our younger members.
There are THREE distances to choose from:
5km (accompanied Brownie teams only), 10km and 20km.
Teams of 4-7 girls (Brownies plus an accompanying adult or Guides – accompanied (if they are a young team) or unaccompanied) or 3+ Rangers, YLs or Adults. There is also the 'Rainbow Ramble'.
