Residential Adviser for Rainbows and Brownies

Do you want to support leaders as they provide girls their first experiences of residential? Do you want to promote safe and fun residential experiences for units across the county? Then this role could be just for you.

We are looking for a Rainbow and Brownie county residential advisor. The role involves promoting and encouraging volunteers to confidently provide residential opportunities which ensure that the standards and administration of all aspects of Rainbow and Brownie residentials.

You will need to be a confident individual who holds a rainbow/brownie residential qualification. You will need to be well organised and a good communicator as well as having time and patience to discuss the importance of maintaining standards. You will also advocate for a well-balanced programme for girls and for their physical and emotional well-being.

Our volunteer roles offer lots of flexibility and can build-on, or help you develop skills in areas that you have an interest in. You may not feel that you fit the role 100% but we strongly encourage a discussion with the county team if this role is interesting to you.
